Burley in Wharfedale Parish Council is looking for a new Parish Councillor.

Following the statutory process of advertising the vacancy, no election has been called by ten electors of the Parish. Therefore, the Parish Council can now fill this vacancy by co-option. This is the process where the council considers applications from interested persons and can then select the person they would like to fill the seat.

We are looking for individuals with energy and passion, who want to make a positive difference and give back to their local community. The work of a councillor can be extremely rewarding. If you are interested in becoming a parish councillor, please complete the Co-option Application Form including details of why you would like to apply, together with the skills and experience that you feel you would bring to the role.
