Burley Roundhouse

The Round House

The Round House was built in 1840 as a gazebo within the grounds of Burley Grange and was given listed status in 1976. Burley Parish Council took on a 50-year lease of the building in 2017.

The building is available to hire for £5 per hour or £25 per day and is currently being booked for use as a pop-up shop, for arts and crafts activities, tea-parties, by music groups and for al-fresco welcome drinks as part of wedding functions at Queens Hall.

The building is also suitable for use for group meetings, small stalls, information points, exhibitions, and promotional events.  We can provide hot water and tea & coffee making facilities.

We would like to see better use made of this iconic building and the Parish Council is seeking funding for refurbishment works including the installation of running water.
