Burley House Field is one of the green lungs of the village. Over an almost thirty year period Burley Community Council, one of the forerunners of the Parish Council fought to keep Burley House Field as a recreational facility for the village. Many attempts were made to refurbish the Field so greater recreational use could be made, until finally in 2006 Bradford Council agreed the Field should be used for recreational purposes under the management of the newly formed Parish Council. Bradford Council completed the exercise in December 2009.
Burley House Field belongs to the people of Burley and any suggestions about the management of the Field are welcomed by the Parish Council via [email protected]
